Shanna + Paul Eloped!

Their wedding had originally been planned for Mexico 2020, but Covid had other plans. Being a very spunky and spontaneous couple, they opted to elope but didn’t know where to start since venues/spaces had very limited availability. So I have an uncle who owns a Highland Cow farm and knew that this was such a unique and rad opportunity to use it for their day!

So I brought together the best vendors and put together this Texas meets boho inspired elopement day. It involved a VW bus, ceremony surrounded by flowers, cake cutting, photos with the cows and riding around on vintage bikes. It was such a special day for Shanna + Paul and I am so honoured to have been their photographer.

They still are planning on having a celebrating in Mexico once our border open up and I will be definitely the first person on that plane aha! I’m so excited!

But for now, they are expecting their first child and Shanna has actually become one of my closest friends now! It’s crazy how these fun milestones can bring people together!

Maria made our day so special in so many ways – I will be forever grateful for her and her talent! She goes way above and beyond what I could have even imagined. I booked Maria without any hesitation for our wedding in Mexico as I absolutely love her photography style and talent. Our destination wedding got postponed due to the pandemic but I had mentioned to Maria that I had our marriage papers. She immediately said let me do something specially!! I had no idea what she had in mind but I trusted her and it was the most magical day! We eloped and it was so intimate and beautiful – I would not change a thing. I look forward to our wedding day with family and friends in Mexico and I know Maria will be such a special part of our day again and capture the most stunning photos. I cannot express how much appreciation I have for her in words. SERIOUSLY DONT WAIT, BOOK MARIA – YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
